Terms of service

Raghved is run by Raghved Healthcare (“Raghved”, “we”, “us”). In these terms, “you” means the person using Raghved: a patient, someone answering for a patient, or a doctor or member of a clinic’s staff.

Some of these terms apply to everyone, some only to patients and some only to doctors and clinics. Our privacy policy, which explains how we handle personal data, is part of these terms.

Raghved is software for clinics. Before you see the doctor, Raghved AI asks about your problem and writes it up for them. The app also keeps your place in the clinic’s line, carries the doctor’s prescription and advice to your phone, reminds you about your medicines, and lets you message your doctor about a visit for 7 days after it.

Raghved is not a hospital, a clinic or a pharmacy, and does not employ the doctors who use it. Each clinic and each doctor on Raghved is independent of us and is responsible for the care they give you.

Raghved AI is a computer program. It asks questions, writes a note for the doctor and offers the doctor possibilities to consider. It does not examine you, does not diagnose, does not prescribe, and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date.

Nothing Raghved AI says to you is medical advice. Do not start, stop or change any treatment because of something Raghved AI said. Only your doctor decides.

Suggestions shown to a doctor are decision support only. The doctor checks them against their own history, examination and judgement, and is free to ignore them.

Every diagnosis, prescription, test and referral is the decision of the doctor who signs it, made with their own professional judgement. They are responsible for it under the law that governs medical practice in India.

Raghved does not promise any result of treatment, and is not a party to the relationship between you, your doctor and your clinic.

Do not use Raghved in an emergency, or for anything that cannot wait. If you have chest pain, difficulty breathing, heavy bleeding, signs of a stroke, a fit, a serious injury, thoughts of harming yourself, or any other emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department now.

Messages in Raghved, the estimated times in the line and medicine reminders can arrive late or not at all. Never rely on them where a delay could cause harm.

If your doctor reaches you by message or video instead of in person, that visit follows the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. The doctor may decide that a remote visit is not suitable and ask you to come in, and some medicines cannot be prescribed without seeing you.

You must be at least 18 years old, and able to make a contract under Indian law, to create an account.

A parent or lawful guardian may use Raghved for a child, or for an adult in their care. If you do, you confirm that you have the right to act for them, you accept these terms on their behalf, and you give the consents in our privacy policy for them.

You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone and your codes to yourself. You are responsible for what is done through your account, so tell us at once through Help in the app if you think someone else has used it.

Give your real name, date of birth and gender. They are printed on your prescriptions, and a wrong one can make a prescription unusable.

Tell Raghved AI and the doctor the truth, and all of it: your symptoms, the medicines you take every day, your allergies, and whether you are or may be pregnant. If you are answering for someone else, say so.

Read your prescription, and take medicines only as your doctor prescribed. If anything is unclear, or a medicine does not agree with you, ask your doctor or a pharmacist.

We are not responsible for harm that comes from information that was wrong or left out.

Places and times shown in the app are estimates, not appointments. The doctor decides who goes in first, and may see someone more unwell before you. A clinic can change or close its hours, and a place you do not take up in time may be released.

A prescription in Raghved is issued and signed by your doctor, and carries their name, qualification and registration number. Raghved only stores it and delivers it to you.

Medicine reminders are a convenience. They can be late, or not come at all, if your phone is off, notifications are turned off or a network fails. Taking your medicines as prescribed remains your responsibility.

Raghved does not sell or deliver medicines. Buy them from a licensed pharmacy.

For 7 days after a visit you can message the doctor who saw you about that visit. The doctor may not reply straight away, and may ask you to come back in. These messages are not for anything urgent.

If you use Raghved as a doctor, you also confirm and agree that:

• you hold a valid registration with the National Medical Commission or a State Medical Council, the qualification and registration number on your profile are true and current, and you will tell us at once if either changes, is suspended or is withdrawn;
• you practise only within your qualification and competence, and follow the law that governs it, including the Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics) Regulations, 2002, the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 where they apply, and the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and its rules;
• you, and not Raghved, are responsible for every diagnosis, prescription and piece of advice you give, including anything you take from Raghved AI’s suggestions, and you check each suggestion before using it;
• you see the patient, or confirm who they are, before you prescribe, and you sign only prescriptions you have reviewed;
• your signature on Raghved is yours alone: you keep your phone and sign-in to yourself, and let no one else sign for you;
• you keep what you learn about patients confidential, use it only to care for them, and keep the medical records the law requires of you;
• you have each patient’s consent for the care you give them and for using Raghved in it.

We may check your registration, and may suspend your access while we do, or if we believe Raghved is being misused or patients may be at risk.

If a clinic pays for Raghved, the price and payment terms are set out in a separate agreement with that clinic.

Raghved does not charge patients. Any fee for a visit, a test or a medicine is between you and your clinic, laboratory or pharmacy. If we ever charge patients for anything, we will show you the price before you are asked to pay.

You may not:

• use Raghved for another person without their permission, or pretend to be someone you are not;
• give false information, or upload anything you do not have the right to share;
• harass, threaten or abuse a doctor, clinic staff or anyone else through Raghved;
• try to read data that is not yours, break or probe our security, or overload the service;
• copy, resell or build a competing product from Raghved, or take data from it by automated means;
• use Raghved for anything unlawful.

We may remove content, and suspend or close an account, that breaks these terms.

What you tell Raghved and upload to it stays yours. You allow us to store, use and share it only as our privacy policy describes, to run Raghved for you and your clinic.

The Raghved app, its name, logo, design, text and software belong to us or to those who license them to us. You may use the app for its purpose, and may not copy or reuse it otherwise.

The 3D body on the pain map is based on “Male Body” by Alexander Antipov (sketchfab.com/Dessen), used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0). We changed it for Raghved: smoothed it, resized it and divided it into the places you can mark.

Raghved runs on services from other companies, such as hosting, the database, sign-in codes, AI models, speech recognition and notifications. Our privacy policy names them. We choose them with care and hold them to terms that protect your data, but we are not responsible for their failures.

We work to keep Raghved running and correct, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, fast or free of errors, or that data will never be lost. We may change, pause or stop any part of Raghved. Keep your own copy of any prescription you need; you can download it as a PDF.

Raghved is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promise, express or implied, that it is fit for any particular purpose, accurate, complete or uninterrupted, or that any health information in it is right for you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Raghved Healthcare, its founders, staff and partners are not liable for: any decision or act of a doctor or a clinic; any harm from relying on Raghved AI; any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss; or any loss of data, income or opportunity.

Where we are found liable, our total liability for all claims about Raghved is limited to ₹1,000, or to what you paid Raghved in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away your rights as a consumer under Indian law.

You agree to make good any loss, claim or cost, including reasonable legal fees, that we face because you broke these terms or the law, or misused Raghved. Doctors and clinics also agree to make good any claim that arises from the care they give.

You may stop using Raghved at any time, and ask us to close your account through Help in the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or that the law requires us to close.

Medical records are kept after an account closes for as long as the law requires, as our privacy policy explains. The parts of these terms that by their nature should last, such as the disclaimer, the limits of liability, the indemnity and the governing law, continue after an account closes.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change matters to how you use Raghved, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Raghved after that, you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, write to us first through Help in the app, and we will try to settle it with you within 30 days. If it is not settled, it will be decided by the courts in India that have jurisdiction over it.

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to whoever takes over Raghved.

These terms are written in English and in Hindi. If the two differ, the English version applies.

For any question or complaint about Raghved, including a grievance under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, write to us through Help in the app. Our Grievance Officer acknowledges a grievance within 24 hours and resolves it within 15 days.
